Obituary of Helenora Robson

ROBSON: Helenora Phyllis ""Nora"" Passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Nora (Summerhays) of Lakefield in her 82nd year. Nora was a published writer and a lifetime member of the Canadian Authors Association. Predeceased in 2000 by John Robson, her devoted husband of 50 years and is survived by her partner Don McRobb. Nora will be missed by her children Michael Robson and his wife Ida of Houston, Texas, Lisa Darling and her husband Michael of London, Ontario and Peter Robson and his wife Trish of Fernie, B.C. Beloved grandmother of Thomas Darling and his wife Jennifer, William Darling and his wife Sandi, Catherine Darling, Charles and John Robson and Taylor Robson. Nora was also soon to be a great grandmother in March. Also survived by her brother Kenneth Summerhays and his wife Sheila and by several cousins. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
