Obituary of Jennifer Slack

SLACK, Jennifer Alanah ""Jennye"" It is with great sadness that the family of Jennifer Slack announces her tragic passing at the age of 17 years. Jennye Slack of Norwood passed away surrounded by her family after a strong fight at Sick Children""?s Hospital, Toronto on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 after suffering injuries from a fall earlier in the week. Jennifer is the cherished daughter of Judy Miller and Gord Slack of Norwood and sister of Sgt. Stephen Miller (Tracy) of Trenton, Gordie Slack (Natalie Clysdale) of Peterborough and Andrew Slack at home. Beloved granddaughter of Doris Shiniman (Jim MacDonald) of Peterborough. Jennye will always be loved by her Uncles Kenneth Slack (Joan), Stephen Slack, Sean Miller, Charlie Miller (Joanne), Ricky Miller and Robert Millard and by her Aunts Carolyn and Julie Slack, Susan Millard (Jim Ardenault) and Cathy Miller. Aunt Jennye will be dearly missed and loved by Collin and Rachel Miller and by her many cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Norwood Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Reverend Ronald B. Hughes officiating. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Interment Asphodel-Norwood Cemetery, spring 2010.
