Obituary of Daniel Mills

MILLS: Daniel Ernest ""Dan"" Passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday January 31, 2010. Dan Mills of Young""?s Point in his 61st year. Dan was retired 2 years after working for General Electric, Peterborough for 41 years and a lifetime member of the local Ducks Unlimited. Loved and missed by his wife of 41 years, Deb (nee DeForge). Dad will be missed by Tim (Marlo), Peggy Mills (Leo Lawlor), both of Peterborough and Jeff (Amy) of Bancroft. Dear Grampa of Scott, Anna, Lynn (Chris), Brody, Mikayla, Joshua, McKenna & Devenna. Survived by his step-father Carl Dunford of Peterborough and his brothers Pat of Belleville, Mike (Brenda), Tom, both of Peterborough and Cal Dunford (Val) of Ennismore. Also survived by his aunts Rita Tunnicliffe, Ivy Buott and Clara Mills. Lovingly remembered by the DeForge family, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Predeceased by his parents Ernie & Betty and sister-in-law Joyce Wilson. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday February 3, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church on Thursday February 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Cremation. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
