To all members of the Kelly family - but especially Gerald and family, and Marie......we are so sorry to hear of your loss. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by so many people. We feel blessed to have had a brief chance to know him. Gavyn, David and I always enjoyed stopping by for a visit in the yard whenever we saw him sitting out enjoying the sunshine. We'll miss seeing his smiling face and chatting. May God bless each one of you and give you strength at this difficult time and help to ease your sorrow by focusing on all of the wonderful memories of a life well lived. All our love - Kelly, David and Gavyn

I am truly sorry for your loss. Your Dad touched many lives. As you recall, I spent a great deal of time at your house growing up. For many years your dad gave me the nickname ugly....I thought I was kind of a cute kid but...! It took a little getting use to the bear hug that squeezed the dickens out of you or the position of being bent over your dad's knee wondering just how hard he was going to paddle my butt! I always felt so welcome in your home, you made me feel like one of the gang. I just wanted to remind you all of the love that was in your home growing up. If I realized anything when we lost dad was how important it is to come together. We all have differences but in a time of loss we really need to help each other. Everyone will grieve in their own way and we need to respect that. Also remember to come together. Your mom will need strength in numbers, which you surely have. It's a time to set aside differences and unite to celebrate the life of a great man. You are a special family with so much love. Share that love with each other and help your mom through the most difficult time of her life. My mom still aches for my dad. Her heart is still broken. They have shared a lifetime together and will need a great deal of time to heal. Comfort each other, you dad would be proud. Sending my prayers and comfort to you all. With love, Laurie-Ann
