Obituary of Jim Sheather

Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Thursday, May 15, 2008, Jim Sheather of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Ancaster, ON; Celista, BC; Delta, BC; Calgary, AB, Winnipeg, MB; and Sarnia, ON where both children were born. Jim was born and raised in Oshawa, ON. He was the loving husband and travelling companion of Sigrid, his wife of 45 years. He was the caring father of Leigh Ann of Ancaster and Glenn of Vancouver, BC. His brother Grant predeceased him. Jim was well-travelled all over North America. He had a great love for anything to do with the water, owning more boats that can be counted— both power and sail. He was gregarious with a zest for life and an appetite for challenges. He always had a new project in mind. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Jim’s ashes will be placed in a sundial urn so he can be in the sun in the summer and by the fireside in winter and move with me when I move. At the request of the family, funeral arrangements are private.
