SMITH: Laurie Mosher Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Sunday March 28, 2010. Laurie Smith of Peterborough in his 79th year. Laurie served for 36 A?A years in the R.C.A.F. as an airframe technician and instructor, retiring as Chief Warrant Officer. He also spent many years with the Peterborough Corps of Commissionaires. Loved and missed by his wife of 54 years, Kathleen Eleanor (Webster). Also missed by his children David (Cindy), Deanna (Don) & Donald (Kim). Pa is remembered by Kyle (Kim), Nicki (Jesse), Ashley (Richard), Amanda (Dave), Michael, Trevor, Morgan (Matt), Brandon and step grandchildren Jenny & Zack. Survived by brothers Gerald (Madeline), his twin Carl (Joy), Ross (the late Mary), his sister Joan (Dennis) and sister-in-law Evelyn. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence & Ola Smith, brothers Earl, Roy (Peggy) and niece Linda. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday March 31, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Prayer Service will be offered at the funeral home at 8 PM. Rev. Munroe Scott Officiating. Laurie will return home to Nova Scotia for his funeral service and committal in Harrigan Cove. Memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association, Breast Cancer Research or the C.S.R.O. (Canadian Spinal Research Organization) as expressions of sympathy.
