Jerry, Carolyn, Erin, Jeremy, Christopher and Kaylie would all like to express our deepest sympathy in this time of great sorrow. Jerry is stranded in Europe with the volcanic ash stopping air travel and I am unable to drive right now. God Bless each one of you.

I remember meeting Rachel at the community center on Wednesday nites for BINGO with my mom. It was through these Wednesday nite sessions that I learned that Rachel briefly drove us rowdy bunch of kids on the BIG yellow school bus, and was also a classmates grandmother. A really nice woman whom I am sure will be missed by Stacey and all of her family. My thoughts are with you.

My mother is surely waiting to have coffee with you! Even now every time I make Pumpkin Pie or stew or eat cream of mushroom soup I remember where I learned of these things...so many years ago....you, thank you for so many things you shared with me. For so many reasons you were one of my mothers favourite people, you will see her now, give her a squeeze for me. I have many great fun memories of being with you, I'll always remember.......Love you, Sandra Sabatino xoxoxo

The first time I met you I had just come from Italy with my family and you registered me at Indian Road Crescent Public School. You were the first one to call me Joanne because we were in Canada now. That name has stuck and only a special select few call me Giovanna. I have very happy memories of you and I will always remember your smile, which never left your face. I am sorry that we were not able to see each other more often, but each time we saw Uncle Mario, we always asked about you. Please say hello to our dad for me and Maria and give him a big kiss from my mom and us. Our prayers are with you. Joanne

Dearest Aunt Rae (my Auntie Mame) You have been through so much in your life, and you did it all with exceptional strength and grace. I remember the laughter and the tears that we all shared with you; your coffee and those damn Rothmans! You made it okay for us to dream big, and beyond our world. You used to always tell me to shoot for the stars. There's nothing you can't do if you want to do it bad enough! Thank you for helping us to see that our dreams were worth living. Your indomitable spirit will stay with us always. Know that you were and are still loved, and will be missed terribly. Love you lots, Tony xoxoxox

Aunt Rae, so glad I got to spend a few special moments with you on my last visit. I will always remember our laughing and crying that day. I also remember how you talked to mom about letting us wear our skirts at our knees not our ankles when we were young. I also remember our late night coffees when we used to come visit. Mom will be waiting with fresh baked cookies and pizza. Give MOM and DAD a big hug and kiss from the whole family...Love you all and miss you lots... Graziella xoxoxoxo p.s. I did learn to like cream of mushroom soup...
