Obituary of Edna Young

YOUNG: Edna Loretta Passed away peacefully at Empress Gardens, Peterborough on Saturday June 19, 2010. Edna Young of Apsley in her 83rd year. Loving wife of the late Mel Young (2001). Loved and missed by her children Elaine Johnston (George) of Apsley, Dail Young of Woodview and daughter-in-law Bonnie of Woodview. Grandma is remembered by Tammy (Shawn Henley), George Jr. (Amy), Tanya Johnston (Rian), Leanne Young, Kristen Young (Corey Edlinger) and great grandchildren Georgie Jr., McKenna, Jared and step great grandchildren Emily & Tyler Braida. Lovingly remembered by her sister Cheryl Armstrong (Wayne) and brother-in-law Dave Medhurst. Predeceased by her daughter Wendy (1993) and sister Marlene Medhurst (2009). Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Tuesday June 22, 2010 from 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. George""?s Anglican Church, Apsley on Wednesday June 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Interment St. George""?s Anglican Cemetery. Reception to follow in the fellowship hall of the church. The Ven. Archdeacon David Peasgood officiating.
