HUDSON: Dorothy Violette (nee Dunford) Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Thursday August 12, 2010. Dorothy Hudson of Peterborough, formerly of Lakefield in her 93rd year. Sadly missed by her brothers and sisters Cephas (Jack) Dunford of Belleville, Flora Pederson (Jim) of Swift Current, Sask., John Dunford (Doris) of Oshawa, Hazel Drumm (George) of Peterborough, sisters-in-law Doris Dunford of Portreeve, Sask., Violet Graham of Peterborough and Betty Hudson of Lakefield. Survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and great great great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gordon & Cecil, husband Fred, sisters Olive Schwengler (John), Violet Thomson (Barrie), brothers Alvin Dunford (Nellie), Pearson Dunford, brothers-in-law Bill Hudson (Pauline), Jack Hudson, Norman Graham and sister-in-law June Dunford. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday August 18, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Thursday August 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lakefield. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home.
