Obituary of Roderick Robinson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Roderick Ronald Robinson on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Pinecrest Nursing Home. Born in Bobcaygeon on April 13, 1923, he was a Veteran of World War II and member of the Royal Canadian Air Force and Para Rescue. He will be deeply missed by his four sons: Myles (Mary Catherine), Marc (Cheryl), Todd (Ana) and Scott (Sue), his 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends and family will be received at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on Sunday, July 4th from 1:00PM, until service time in the chapel at 2:00PM. Interment at Verulam Cemetery will take place on Monday, July 5th at 11:00AM. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Ross Memorial Hospital and Pinecrest Nursing Home.
