Obituary of Iona McCabe

McCABE: Iona (nee Armstrong) Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Friday November 19, 2010. Iona McCabe of Lakefield in her 90th year. Loving wife of the late Roy McCabe (May 10, 1982). Predeceased by her sisters Edna Robinson and Vera Coad, brothers Harold, Nesbitt, Raymond, Reginald and Lorne. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Iona was a beloved part of the Shaw family; Shirley & Wayne, Melissa (Dan), Stephen (Rikki). Longtime friend of Pat Schiarizza and special aunt of Bud & Terry Armstrong. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, on Wednesday November 24, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Thursday November 25, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Warren Vollmer officiating. Interment Lakefield Cemetery.
