Obituary of Margaret Dunford

DUNFORD: Margaret Isabelle (nee MacNaughton) Passed away at the P.R.H.C., on Saturday February 12, 2011. Margaret Dunford of Stoney Lake in her 82nd year. Marg was a dedicated member of the O.E.S., Peterborough Chapter #161, the Kawartha Quilt Makers Guild and St. Matthew St. Aidan Anglican Church, Buckhorn. Loving wife of the late Douglas W. Dunford (2002). Sadly missed by her daughters Gail Lockhart (James) of Stoney Lake, Gloria Dunford-Cartwright (Elwyn) of Stoney Lake and Anne Van Allen (Jack) of Peterborough. Lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Mary Morton and Addie Jackson, both of Peterborough, brother N.A. ""Sandy"" MacNaughton (Elva) of Young's Point, sister-in-law Eveline MacNaughton of Young's Point and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Aaron & Bertha, brothers Harry (Alice), Wallace (Bonnie), Braden, sister Lois Bonney (Albert) and brothers-in-law Lynden Jackson and John Morton. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Margaret's Life will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lakefield on Saturday June 25, 2011 at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow in the church hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Community Care Access Centre, Feed the Children or Spread the Net as expressions of sympathy.
