Obituary of Ruth McIntyre

McINTYRE: Irene Ruth Passed away peacefully at Willows Estate Long Term Care, Aurora, with loved ones by her side, on Thursday February 17, 2011, 16 years to the day following her husband Don. Ruth (nee Brownscombe) of Aurora, formerly of Lakefield in her 92nd year. Loving wife of the late Donald F. McIntyre. Dear mother of Don McIntyre and his wife Ana of Calgary, Sandra and her husband Gordon LeLacheur of Aurora, Jane and her husband Vaughn Greer of Lakefield and Andrew McIntyre of Trenton. Loving grandmother of 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Jack, sister Della Bennett and niece Betty Jane Mercer. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, on Monday February 21, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Interment Hillside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at St. Andrew""?s Presbyterian Church, Lakefield as expressions of sympathy.
