Obituary of Vera Manchester

MANCHESTER, Vera Alice Passed away at The Village of Taunton Mills Retirement Home, Whitby on Wednesday, June 8, 2011. Vera (Winter), formerly of Lakefield in her 97th year. Wife of the late Howard Manchester (2009). Loving mother of Marilyn (Doug Brown), Cheryl (Bob Pachal) all of Whitby and Lorraine (Dennis Ward) of Markham. Grandmother to Michael Pachal (Laura), Shannon Hinton (Jason), Philip Brown (Louise), Leanne Cobierski, Christine Brown (Mike Loosemore), David Brown (Nellie) and Scott Cobierski. Great Grandmother to Darcey & Julia Pachal, Cameron & Daria Hinton, Kyla, Kori, Koda and Andrew Cobierski and Nathan and Cassidy Brown. Lovingly remembered by Glenda Newson. Predeceased by parents Lulu and Simon Winter and siblings Mae Storring, Beulah Holmes and Veryl Winter. A Funeral Service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen St., Lakefield, on Monday June 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Family interment to follow at Huntley Cemetery, Carp, ON.
