McIVOR: W. Ormand ""Orm"" Called home peacefully to be with his Lord on Saturday August 6, 2011 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Orm McIvor of Ennismore, formerly of Guelph, aged 78 years. Loved and missed by his wife Lois McIvor. Loving dad of Steve McIvor (Susan) of Ottawa and Lori Murray (Peter) of Kenilworth. Dear grandpa of Christina, Lorne and Brandi (Kevin). Survived by his brothers Kenneth, Alan (Stella) and Douglas, all of Guelph and sister-in-law Dorothy of Arizona. Also survived and remembered by several nieces, nephews and the Klein Family. Predeceased by his parents Ina Edwards and Ross McIvor, sister Bette Billings (Junnie), brothers Cecil (Alice), Wayne (Betty), Murray and sister-in-law Betty. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 9, 2011 at 2:00 PM from THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Sick Kid's Hospital, Toronto, Chemong Community Care or the charity of one's choice as expressions of sympathy.
