BOWEN: Evelyn May Passed away peacefully at Riverview Manor, Peterborough on Friday August 12, 2011. Evelyn (Tinney), previously of Apsley in her 92nd year. Dear wife of the late Irwin J. Bowen and Charles R. Post. Loving mother of Patsy Jean and her husband Alex MacDonald of Apsley and the late Allen Post. Mother-in-law of Denise Graham of Peterborough and step-mother of Marelyn Klapow and the late Doris Plumby. Dear sister of Hazel Post of Apsley and the late Bill, Victor, Manley, Joseph & Robert Tinney and Charles Maxwell. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, on Tuesday August 16, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Warren Vollmer officiating. Interment at Clydesdale Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society as expressions of sympathy.
