Obituary of Barbara Thajer

THAJER: Barbara J. (nee Morrison) Passed away peacefully at her home on Big Cedar Lake, after a lengthy struggle with cancer on Tuesday October 18, 2011, in her 72nd year. Loved and missed by her husband of 52 years, Horst Thajer and her son Dan Thajer (Dawn) of Bowmanville. Loving grandmother of Curtis, Deirdre, Jade (Jason) and Lyric. Survived by her brothers Allan Morrison (Irene) of Whitby, Bill Morrison (Linda) of Oshawa and sisters Dorothy Gardner (Bill) of Golden Lake and June Brown (George) of the Villages, Florida. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Olive & Oscar, son Stephen, brother George and sister Doreen. A Memorial Service will be held from Young""?s Point United Church on Saturday October 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Young""?s Point United Church or the Closer Campaign of the P.R.H.C. as expressions of sympathy.
