Sincere condolences to Winnie and family in the passing of Archie. Truly a dedicated member of our United Church, it was nice to see him with family at the annual Community Carol Service. His support to the village will always be remembered and appreciated by many of us who have been blessed to share his dedication in all he contributed to our home town. A fine gentleman, whose cheery smile and sincere greetings will be missed.

Dear Winnifred is with a great deal of sadness that I join you in remembering Archie.Although I only knew him in his later life I always enjoyed his stories and was able to relate to them as I knew the people he was talking about was able to help him a little bit with his Family History and he really appreciated my help as we were able to put a face to some of the mystery of the past. We will always have fond memories of Uncle Archie as we recall stories he shared, jokes he loved to tell, and his love of singing. He was always kind and generous. We were priviledged to share in some fun times, especially with Aunt Winnie, and Burt and Leona. He was such a good sport to get up on a horse at the Roseneath Carousel. Our sincere wishes for warm remembrances of a special person, Uncle Archie.

Kathy, I am sorry to hear about your Dad's passing...he was such a wonderful man who loved his family and was so proud of them! Over the years that I worked at Guardian and saw him there were times that he would mention a member of his family and you could see the love he felt for them. You will certainly miss him, especially at this time of year and I hope your many memories of him will help to give you comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. He will be missed by many in the community. Julie (Todd) Chatten

There are some people you just think will be around forever, and Archie was one of them. My first memories of him was when I decided to go into real estate, but not really sure if that was what I wanted . Archie interviewed me, and I was a nervous wreck, until I was told later that Brokers will take on almost any new agent, and you should be interviewing them. He was a great boss, and a great family man, and served his community. He was one of the rare few, and will be missed by many besides his family. Our deepest condolences to the Stewart family.
