Obituary of Betty Turk

TURK: Betty Joan (nee Westrope) Passed away after a courageous battle with her health, with her family by her side at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday December 17, 2011, in her 69th year. Loving wife of 49 years to Al Turk of Peterborough. Loving mom of David Turk (Michele) of Toronto, Julie Stephenson (Mark) and Lori Foster (Max), both of Ennismore. Precious grandma of Amanda, Carsten, Kayla, Daniel, Jake, Matthew, Emma and Charlotte. Dear sister of Bill Westrope (Carolyn) of Lindsay and Nancy Jones (Lynn) of Castleton. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Emma & George and her brother Wayne Westrope. A memorial service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday December 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation two hours prior to the service. Rev. Dr. Anne Gowans-Blinn officiating. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C.
