Obituary of Lorraine Burgess

BURGESS: Lorraine (nee Gooley) Passed away suddenly after a brief struggle with cancer at the P.R.H.C. on Thursday January 3, 2013. Lorraine Burgess of Bridgenorth in her 74th year. Loved and missed by her husband of 50 years, Jack Burgess. Also missed by her children Gary (Peggy) of Bowmanville, Carol Heayn (Tim) of Bowmanville and Dave (Lisa) of Newcastle. Dear grandma of Natalie, Avery, Derek, Dana & Addison. Survived by her sister Helen Garvey of Assumption, sister-in-law Marion Bailey (Stan) of Oakwood and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Daniel & Mary, sisters Murnie Corrin and Dorothy Barcroft and brothers Frank, Mike, Earl and Leo Gooley. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Tuesday January 8, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Ennismore on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 10:30 AM. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
