Obituary of Cornelis Stegenga

STEGENGA: Cornelis Johan "Kees" Passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday May 21, 2013. Kees Stegenga of Lakefield at the beginning of his 74th year. Kees was a longtime public school teacher at Clifton Public School in Mississauga. Sadly missed by his wife of 43 years, Mary Ellen (MacKay). Dad is remembered by his daughter Ida Lloyd of Lakefield and his son Nigel Stegenga of Toronto. Grandpa Opa is loved by Isabelle Lloyd. Survived by brothers Herre "Harry" (Pat) of Lakefield, John of Ottawa and Leslie of Calgary. Kees is also survived and missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday June 14, 2013 at 12:30 PM, followed by a reception in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lakefield as expressions of sympathy.
