Obituary of Lynne Brien

BRIEN: Lynne R. (nee Turner) Passed away peacefully after lengthy illnesses at the P.R.H.C. on Thursday June 6, 2013. Lynne Brien of the Stoney Lake area in her 70th year. Lynne was a 25 year member of the Dummer Fire Department as a radio operator. Loved and missed by her husband of 47 years, William "Bill" Brien. Cherished by her daughter Cheryl Benstead and her husband Vince of Hiawatha and by her grandchildren Cassidy and Zachary. Also sadly missed by her sister Barb Traynor and her husband Brent of Warsaw, mother-in-law Jewel Brien (the late Earle) of Ottawa, sister-in-law June Brien (the late Tedd) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ruth and Clifford Turner. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday June 12, 2013 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 PM. Rev. Warren Vollmer officiating. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association as expression of sympathy.
