Obituary of Allan Doherty

DOHERTY, Allan John Passed away at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Tuesday August 6, 2013. Allan Doherty of Norwood in his 79th year, husband of the late Karen Doherty (d. 2008). Dad will always be loved and remembered by Patricia Wagar (Merle), Allan Doherty (Sheri), Karen Little (Roger) and Jim Doherty (Joanne). Beloved grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also remembered by his sisters Rosella Caldwell (late Allan) and Lorraine Vahey (Doug) and by his brother John Doherty (Betty). Also remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his daughters Suzanne and Rose and brothers Leo, Fred, Pat, Tommy and Earl. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL on Friday August 9, 2013 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Norwood on Saturday August 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Paul's Cemetery with reception to follow at the R.C.L., Br. 300, Norwood. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
