Obituary of Brenda Willoughby

WILLOUGHBY: Brenda E. Passed away suddenly at the P.R.H.C. on Friday December 20, 2013. Brenda Willoughby of Selwyn, Ontario. Brenda will be remembered for her dedication to learning as a Vice Principal for 35 years in the Scarborough Board of Education, and for her many volunteer positions including 13 years with the Peterborough Quilt Guild, co-founding Quilts for Cancer and as a member of Young's Point United Church. Loved and missed by her husband of 44 years, Bob Willoughby and her cousin Doug Shier of Peterborough. Predeceased by her parents Harry & Grace and her sister Beverley Ann. A funeral service will be held at the LAKEFIELD UNITED CHURCH on Saturday December 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Warren Vollmer officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date at Cochrane Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Quilts for Cancer, Peterborough County as expressions of sympathy.
