Carolyn, it feels like yesterday that Ann, Linda, and I attended at your wedding. Yours was a match made in heaven, and even though I have not seen you for decades, when I look at Marty's picture, I can see that he had a very happy life with you. The life will pose a major challenge for you now, but that strong character and determination that you always exhibited will see you through. Marty will always be in your heart and it is there you can always visit him... the touching of souls bound together in love. Blessings always. Love, Arlene (Lavana)

Dear Bill, Genevieve, Linda, Pat and Peter,
Our deepest sympathy goes out to you on the loss of your brother and brother-in-law.
Bill ~ for years, when speaking of you and Martin, it was always "Marty and Billy" - to us,you were inseparable. We always loved/love you so much as you were our "cool" cousins whom we learned so much from especially when we spied on you kissing your girlfriends (Genny and Carolyn)!! You were our "role models" - so different in many ways, yet so much alike. I can only imagine the emptiness you feel in your heart. Please know that we are thinking of you, especially during the next few weeks.
Linda, Pat and Peter ~ you must have such great memories of Martin. We are so blessed that he married Carolyn as she continues to be the most beautiful woman (both inside and out) with her soft spoken demure and contagious giggle, not to mention, her warm and gracious personality. Carolyn will miss Marty so much as they were truly a "couple"!
Pat,I think of you every New Year's Eve with so many good memories - my goodness we had a lot of fun!
We are so sorry we could not make it to the wake or funeral but please know that you are in our hearts during this time. We owe you all a huge hug and hopefully it will not be too long before we can personally do so.
With love and sincere sympathy,
Jane(Freemark) and Wolfgang

Dear Carolyn, Lisa, Susan and family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy on your loss of Marty. The picture with the obituary is exactly how we remember him.......his crooked, mischievous smile ~ always accompanied by a twinkle in his eye. We are so blessed to have such good memories of him (which I will share with you in a separate letter).
We are so very sorry that we couldn't make it to the wake or funeral but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sending each of you a huge hug, hoping that for a couple of seconds it will take away the pain and emptiness you feel in your heart and replace it with peace and warmth.
Love always,
Wolfgang & Jane

Dear Carolyn,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Mere words can't begin to express the pain and loss you feel. Perhaps there can be some small comfort in knowing that others share in your sorrow. We thank you and remember you for your kindness with our kids at St. Paul's.

Dear Carolyn, Lisa, Susie and families,
My heartfelt sorrow for your loss at this time. I will always remember Martin's sense of humour and we will dearly miss him. I know the difficult time you are going through and with time we will start to remember the fun times and memories of Martin. I'm so glad we got down to see both of you a couple of weeks ago, those laughs will be with Pat and I forever.
Lots of hugs kisses and tears..
