Obituary of Mary Kidd

KIDD: Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Betty was reunited with her cherished son Scott Andrew, peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday March 8, 2014. Betty Kidd of Lakefield in her 64th year. Betty will be lovingly remembered by many for her years of dedicated service as a Registered Nursing Assistant at St. Joseph's Hospital and the Peterborough Civic Hospital. She made many dear friends throughout her career in nursing. Betty is sadly missed by her dear husband Hugh and her son Greg and his wife Jenn Worboy of Buckhorn. Grandma Betty is remembered by her special granddaughters Sophie and Isobel. Also sadly missed by her sisters Anna Dyer (Rodger) of Warsaw, Helen Brahaney (Eugene) of Campbellford, Joanne Brough (Bruce) of Bailieboro and by her brothers Bob Condon (Jean) of Douro, Leo Condon (Dianna) of Douro, John Condon (Cathy) of Oakville and sister-in-law Karen Kidd. Betty was aunt to several nieces and nephews and they will dearly miss her love and attention to their lives. Predeceased by her parents Frank & Elizabeth Condon (Moloney), parents-in-law Gordon & Elva Kidd (Hilker), brother-in-law Doug Kidd and niece Kelly Condon. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday March 12, 2014 from 5:00 - 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated from St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Douro on Thursday March 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall of St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Lakefield.
