How can you condense the words to describe Doug Pollock...He was a man that cared about sums it up, Doug will be missed by many that knew him and his constant smile. We would trade secrets about the camps little oddities BUT kept it running as site managers for the safety of all that came to the site for the fun , learning experience , laughter, tears of joy and sadness. You will be missed by many that have come and gone But you will be greeted by some that know you when you reach your destination with open arms and a nice smile because they know you did right by the staff and campers as they did at Moorelands.....Missed but never forgotten . Watch over the rest of us with the others that have passed before that were connected to the best camp around.

Doug, All who knew you were blessed by your presence and joy of life. Spring preparations for camp were always a blast under your leadership. You taugh me to drive a boat, jump start a tractor and even repair a washing machine, always with a smile on my face. We have not spoken in over 20 years, but you truly have left a lasting effect on my life. You will not be forgotten. Thank you for all that you have shared. Rolo

I'm relieved to know that Doug's struggle is over. He was a good man who loved the ladies. Moorelands was lucky to have him there in the 80s and it's so meaningful to have his support at the end of his life.
