Obituary of Adam Cartmel

CARTMEL: Adam John Passed away tragically on Thursday June 5, 2014. Adam Cartmel of Buckhorn in his 13th year. Adam was a proud member of the Ennismore Eagles Minor Hockey and loved to spend his time in the outdoors with his family and friends. Adam will be remembered by his mom Leah and dad Scott who have lost their dear baby boy and best buddy. He is sadly missed by his best friend and brother Cole and his best big sister Courtney. Also missed by his grandmothers Shirley Cook (the late Papa Ralph), Pat Cartmel (the late Grandpa Dave), uncles Brent Cook (Jacqui), Blake Cook (Candy) and aunt Lynda Bucholtz (Dave). Adam will be remembered by his cousins and friends Gracie, Charlie, Ashley, Abby, David (Kelly) and their daughter Georgia, Mike, Lacey, Ben (Sandy) and Matt (Britt). Adam is also remembered by his dearest friend and buddy Logan. Predeceased by his uncle Dave and aunt Debbie. A private family funeral service will be held followed by interment at Lakefield Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday June 10, 2014 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM at the Lakehurst Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (L.A.W.S.) or Kawartha Food Share as expressions of sympathy.
