Obituary of Muriel Omand

OMAND, Muriel Edith Passed away at Southlake Regional Hospital, Newmarket on Saturday June 21, 2014. Muriel (McTaggart) of Apsley in her 94th year, wife of the late Herbert William Omand. Loving mother of Bonnie Griffiths (late Ted) of Powasson and Wayne (Judy) of Jacksons Point. Also missed by her son-in-law David Holt. Grandma will always be loved and remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughters Marilyn Eaton and Susan Holt, son Marshall Omand, sisters Cora Miller and Alberta McDonough and brother Joe McTaggart. A funeral service will be held at the Apsley Community Chapel on Friday June 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM with visitation to commence at 1:00PM. Pastor John Trotter officiating. Interment Glen Alda Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Apsley Community Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
