Obituary of William Bruce Davidson

DAVIDSON, William “Bruce” Passed away suddenly at Mapleview Retirement Residence, Norwood on Friday June 27, 2014. Bruce Davidson of Norwood in his 94th year, beloved husband of 68 years to Evelyn (nee Buck). Loving father of Alex Davidson (Bonnie) of Norwood, Eric Davidson (Brenda) of Peterborough, Marie Nurse (Charlie) of Bailieboro and the late Don Davidson. Grandpa Bruce will always be loved and remembered by Mike (Rosemary), Jeff (Heather), Erica (Adam), Julie, Richard and Andrew Nurse and by his great grandchildren Adelaide, Alexa and Carter Davidson. Also remembered by his sister Vera McNeely (late Clayton), brother Harold Davidson (Eleanor), sister-in-law Mary Davidson and daughter-in-law Michelle. Predeceased by his grandson Mark Davidson and brothers Russell and Thomas Davidson. A funeral service will be held at the Norwood United Church on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM (beginning with a Lions Service). Visitation to commence at 1:00 PM. Reverend Don McLean officiating. A reception will follow in the Church Hall. Interment Asphodel-Norwood Cemetery.
