Obituary of Gary Godwin

Gary Godwin passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the age of 59.  Son of Earl Godwin of Burnt River and the late Marion Eakins.  Beloved husband of the late Judith Godwin (nee Walker)  Loving father of Jennifer (Anthony) Van Iersel of Newmarket, Jason Godwin of Newmarket and the late Amy.  Brother of Judy Junkin of Oshawa.  He will be missed by his good friend Margaret Broydell of Newmarket.  He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at MONK FUNERAL HOME on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment in Verulam Cemetery, Bobcaygeon.  If desired memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society, Sick Kids Hospital or the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated.
