Obituary of Ross Alfred Wilson
WILSON, Ross A. - Suddenly passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, in his 100th year. He practiced law in St. Catharines for over 50 years and then retired to Bobcaygeon with the love of his life - his late wife Lola (Jackson, nee Pollock). He was an avid sportsman throughout his life, but found his true sport in golf - last year was his last season. He lived a full life of honest work, serious golf and good fellowship. He will be missed by his son John and daughter-in-law Carolyn, daughters Gayle, Rosalind and Alison, his Jackson family, Marlene, Paul and Howard and his many grandsons. He will be missed by many friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or Ross Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
