Obituary of Teresa Burton

With family at her side, Tess passed away peacefully at Kawartha Lakes Extendicare Lindsay on Friday, February 6th, 2009 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Jamie and his wife Michelle of Peterborough and Jane and her husband Mike Burton-Davies of Bobcaygeon. Dear Grandmother of David and Sarah Burton-Davies of Toronto, Brandon Drouillard and Shelby Call of Peterborough. Sister of Bert, Joan, Peter, Betty, Pat and the late Joey, Ira, Mary, Ken, David and Patricia. A private family service was held at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen St., Bobcaygeon on Sunday, February 8th, 2009. A Celebration of Life service for ALL will be held later in the spring in the garden of Tess and John’s home in Bobcaygeon. Many thanks to everyone who helped are for Tess in her last years dealing with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
