Obituary of Johannes Hampel

Johannes Hampel of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Toronto, peacefully passed away surrounded by family at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Wednesday January 18th, 2012 in his 73rd year.  Beloved Husband of Corrie of 45 years.  Loving Father of Jane Hampel of Toronto, Peggy Hampel of Peterborough and Linda Hampel and Hyphen Pearce of Ajax.  Dear Opa of Anthony, Alicia, Katherine, Jessica, Jakob and great-grandchildren Dyllon, Zatanna and Shyleigh.  Dear Brother of Ernst, Paula, Lien, Boukje, Gooitske, Tiny, all in Holland, and predeceased by Marius.  Johan will be missed by his extended family in Holland, friends and his church family.  Family and friends will be received at MONK FUNERAL HOME, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on Monday January 23rd, 2012 from 2-4pm, and on Tuesday January 24th, at Trinity United Church, Bobcaygeon from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.  Spring Burial at Verulam Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations to Ross Memorial Hospital Palliative Care or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence and donations may be placed at www.monkfuneralhome.com
