Obituary of Betty Anne Klein

Born in St. Mary's ON, Betty was the youngest of 4 sisters. Following WWII, she married the late William Klein of Stratford with whom she had 3 children. The family lived in several communities in south-western Ontario, before she and Bill retired to the Kawartha’s. Settling on Nogies Creek in her beloved "Rocky River Retreat", she helped start Meals on Wheels in Bobcaygeon, as well as actively participating in both church and community life. Her last years were spent at Case Manor. Betty died peacefully Saturday morning. She is survived by her son's Mike Sr. (Louise), David (Jan), and daughter Lynne (Eric). She has 6 Grandchildren: Jen, Ben, Joe, Mike Jr., Rob and Elizabeth. She also has 3 Great-Grandchildren, Alden, Josie, and Lily-Louise. Betty's family wishes to thank the staff and the program staff at Case Manor for their cheerful and dedicated care of Betty over the years. Visitation will be held at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen St., Bobcaygeon, ON on Friday, May 4th between 7-9 pm, with the funeral service being held at Fenelon Falls Baptist Church on Saturday, May 5th at 11 am. Donations to the “Program Fund” at case Manor, Ross Memorial Hospital, Fenelon Falls Baptist Church or Samaritans Purse would be appreciated.
