Obituary of Nellie Alberta Oliver

OLIVER: Nellie Alberta Nellie Oliver passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Bobcaygeon, on Friday, May 4th, 2012 in her 102nd year.  Beloved wife of the late Albert “Gordan” Oliver (1989).  Mother of Norman (Isobel) Oliver, Bobcaygeon, G. Clayton Oliver, Bobcaygeon, Elsie Oliver, Mount Forest, Ontario, and the late Keith Oliver.  Grandmother of seven.  Great Grandmother of fourteen.  Great-Great Grandmother of two.  Sister of Elsie Earl, Leila Swartz, Eunice Cockwill, Sara Wray and the late Alice, Leonard, Clarence and Cecil.  Family and friends will be received at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral Service to be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 6 Joseph St., Bobcaygeon on Thursday, May 10th  at 2:30 p.m.  Interment in Verulam Cemetery.  If desired, memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
