Obituary of Joseph Shasta

Passed away in his 99th year at Case Manor, Bobcaygeon on Saturday, November 3rd.  Joe was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret. His life was full of many accomplishments; miner, carpenter, plus he established Universal Awning Company in 1954 which is still in operation to this day.  His greatest accomplishment are his children Carol, Lorrie (Guy), Greg (Paula), Joe (Cheryl), Pat (Denis). Joe will be missed by his grandchildren David (Pawn), Jennifer (Dave), Derek, PJ, Dennis (Crystal), Brian and Great Grandchildren Sophia and Bella. Our thanks to all the staff at Case Manor who cared for Joe with respect and compassion. At Joe’s request, no service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your own choice.
