Obituary of William Brayley

Grant Brayley of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Toronto, passed away at home with family by his side on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Shirley Brayley for 64 years. Loving father of Scott (Cathie) Brayley of Toronto and Pamela Hobbs of Cambridge. Grandfather of David and Katie Brayley and Bryn, Kyle and Robyn Hobbs. Brother of the late Joan Hatch of Mount Albert. Grant graduated from the University of Toronto in Metallurgy  in 1947.  He then began a successful forty year career in the steel industry: One year at Stelco, then Samuel, Son and Co., where he ultimately served as Executive Vice President and then Samuel Manutech as President until he retired in 1990. A private family service will be held with interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. Donations to Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation, Lindsay, would be appreciated as Grant was a longtime supporter.
