Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, March 26, 2009, Effie Holloway of Bobcaygeon, formerly of Halifax, NS, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Arnold MacNeil and Edward Holloway. Loving mother of Dennis (Dianne) MacNeil, Cannings Cove, NL; Debbie (Wayne) Chort of Bobcaygeon and Shawn (Jane) MacNeil of Pickering. Grandmother of Amanda Chort, Ashley Chort, Leah MacNeil and Lucas MacNeil. Sister of Minnie Cook of Sarnia and the late Betty and Larry. Family and friends will be received at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
