Obituary of Phoebe Ellen Scott

Phoebe Ellen Scott (nee Good), formerly of Newfoundland Peacefully at home on Friday, August 30, 2013.  Dearly beloved wife of the late Cpt. Arthur (1996).  Beloved mother of Gladys (Roy), Lloyd (Josie) of Bobcaygeon, Janet of Sudbury and the late Melvin (Liz).  Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  Loving sister to Cecil (Carol) Thornhill of Bobcaygeon.  Ellen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Family and friends will be received at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 2-4 p.m.  Funeral service at Monk Funeral Home on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 11 a.m.  Interment Pine Hills Cemetery, Toronto.  If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence, donations, memories and photos may be shared at www.monkfuneralhome.com
