Barry Oliver passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa, ON.  Barry was born in Lindsay, ON December 1, 1930.  Beloved husband of the late Uena Oliver.  Loving father of Brian (Mary) Oliver, Truro, NS; Bruce (Catherine) Oliver, Huntsville, ON; and Debra (David) Henderson, Belleville, ON.  Grandfather of Helen Brown, Vancouver, BC; David Brown, Toronto, ON; Grace Durling, Truro, NS; Joan Hartling, Truro, NS; Richard Oliver, Bangkok, Thailand; Amanda Meredith, Truro, NS; Barry Oliver, Hants County, NS; and Kelly Wagner, Wingham, ON.  Great-Grandfather of Liam Nathaniel Blackburn, Truro, NS; Brandon Durling, Truro, NS; Rebecca Durling, Truro, NS; Brenton Meredith, Truro, NS; Paul Meredith, Truro, NS; Nicholas Wagner, Wingham, ON; Lucas Wagner, Wingham, ON; Alexander Wagner, Wingham, ON; and Maximillion Oliver, Bangkok, Thailand. Brother of James (Nancy) Oliver, Bobcaygeon, ON; Dorothy (Ken) Morris, Ottawa, ON; George Oliver, Mount Forrest, ON; Claire (Josephine) Oliver, Barrie, ON; Barbara Bureidge, Pickering, ON; Eric (Marion) Oliver, Newcastle, ON; and the late Murry Oliver and Claude Oliver.  Barry held various executive positions throughout North America including John Inglis, Toronto, ON; Dosco, Montreal, QC; Hawker Siddley; Halifax Shipyards, NS; Trenton Works, NS and Thunderbay, ON, reaching a level of Vice President.  He was Vice President of Flyer Industries, Winnipeg, MB and owner of Princeton Busworks, Princeton, MN; and owner and President of NATSCO, Mississauga, ON. Family and friends will be received at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 12 Noon until Service time in the Monk Chapel at 1:00 pm Interment to follow service in Verulam Cemetery, Bobcaygeon.
