Obituary of Wendy Stockfish

Died peacefully on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Specialty Care Case Manor in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, having just turned 56.  Her mother Barbara was at her side when she passed.  Wendy leaves Barbara and siblings Bruce (Shana), Carol, Glenn (Pauline) and Garry who remember what a sweet and intelligent sister she was.  Predeceased by father Stew.  Beloved aunt of Alana, David, Casey, Ashley and Braedyn.  And certainly not least she leaves her most faithful friend Wayne.  Wendy grew up in Georgetown and Sault Ste Marie, Ontario before being afflicted with a brain tumor, epilepsy and strokes.  Her life was marked with amazing faith and endurance.  The family wishes to thank the extraordinary staff at Case Manor for their devoted care of Wendy, even as she deteriorated over her final years. A memorial service will be held at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on Sunday, November 24 at 2:30 PM.  No flowers, please - instead feel free to make a donation to the charity of your choice in Wendy's name.
