Obituary of René Rioux

René Rioux passed away peacefully at Case Manor on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the age of 93.  Beloved husband of Kathleen Rioux (d.1996).  Father of Doreen (Joel Farkas) Rioux, Alexandria VA.  Grandfather of Darryl (Danielle) Aspin, Port Perry and Daniel (Melanie Norris) Aspin, Oshawa.  Great-grandfather of Aeris Aspin, Caden Aspin.  Brother of Lucide Rioux, Fredericton, NB and Dorice Loraine Edgecomb, Colorado Springs, CO. Very good friend and a father figure to Doug (Karen Robertson) Aspin, Port Perry. Family and friends will be received at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 4-7 p.m. A Legion Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service in the Monk Chapel on Saturday, February 8th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.   Spring interment Verulam Cemetery.
