Obituary of Paul Daniel Dunbar

Dan Dunbar of Bobcaygeon, formerly of East York, passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital after a brief but hard fought battle, surrounded by his family at the age of 65 on February 24, 2014.  Beloved husband and best friend to Jo-Ann Dunbar for 40 years.  Proud father of Michelle (Troy Woudwyk) Dunbar of Bowmanville and Kristy Dunbar of Toronto.  Cherished Poppa Dan to Caroline.  Son of the late Francis (Frank) and Olive Dunbar.  Brother of Sister Jane (Patricia) Dunbar of Toronto, Marilyn Piccinin of Richmond, BC; Regina (Lee) Moffat of Port Hope, Rosemary (Bob) Kemp of Toronto, Lois (Dave) Barnett of Toronto and the late Gerrard, Fergus, Douglas and Audrey.  Brother-in-law of Mary Anne Dunbar of Bobcaygeon and Kathleen Dunbar of Toronto.  He will be sadly missed by his second family the Rodriguez's.  Fondly remembered by all of his many nieces, nephews and good friends.  Family and friends will be received at Monk Funeral Home, 6 Helen Street, Bobcaygeon  (705-738-3222 or 866-393-0063) on  Wednesday, February 26th  from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, February 27th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 18 Need Street, Bobcaygeon, on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11 a.m.  If desired, memorial donations to: Canadian Amyloidosis Support Network Inc. or Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation.  Messages of condolence, donations, photos and memories may be shared at www.monkfuneralhome.com
