Obituary of Paul Cziraky

Count Paul Cziraky was born into the Hungarian Aristocracy.  72 years ago he married Countess Maria Andrassy. The Second World War ended their way of life and Paul arrived in Nogies Creek. He became involved in the mining industry.  He spent seventeen years as Councillor and Reeve of Harvey Township. For many years, he ran a travel agency in Bobcaygeon. He was an ardent supporter of minor hockey and baseball. He died peacefully in his wife’s arms on Saturday, May 3rd. He is survived by his wife, Maria, a son and three grandsons. He was predeceased by a son and grandson.  Paul lived life on his own terms. A ceremony to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Bobcaygeon Minor Hockey or Bobcaygeon Ladies Baseball League would be appreciated.
