EDMOND: Richard John “Dick”
Passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday October 5, 2019. Dick Edmond of Lakefield in his 75thyear. Dick worked for many years in England as a project manager in elevators. He enjoyed many sports and was an active bowler in leagues at Bowlerama in Peterborough. He was also a member of Heron Landing Golf Club and a former member of Katchiwano Golf Club. He closely followed British Football, especially his teams, Watford and Arsenal. Dick and Janet enjoyed camping in the area and travelling to many local Jamborees. Loved and missed by his wife Janet (Frost) and his children Barry of England and Teresa of Wales. Also missed by his step-sons Paul Flint, Stephen Frost (Sherry), Jeffrey Frost (Kim), step-daughter Linda Frost, grandson Sean Carr, step-grandchildren Matthew, Cody, Justin, Danielle, Vince, Carolanne (Andrew), Mike (Sheryl), Melissa (Billy) and step-great grandchildren Colton, Audrie, Cole, Jace and Ayden. Remembered by his brothers-in-law Colin Ball (Margaret), Robert Ball (Jean) and many friends. Predeceased by his parents, brother Peter and sister Rita Lindley. A Celebration of Dick’s Life will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lakefield, on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
