SCHIARIZZA, ANTHONY PAUL (Veteran of WW II, member of First Special Service Force - Devil's Brigade) Suddenly at P.R.H.C., Hospital Dr. Site on Thursday, January 31, 2002, Tony Schiarizza of RR # 4, Peterborough in his 81st year. Beloved husband for 50 years of Patricia (Gannon). Loving father of Paul of Victoria, Beth Cockburn (Bill) of Downeyville, the late Doug and grandfather of Darrell, Jen, Matt, Megan, Alison and Kelly. Dear brother of Mary Marchen and Betty Cavers both of Peterborough, Grace Strauch of Minneapolis, Ernie of Owen Sound and the late Theresa Ridley, Hazel Marino, Helen English, Anne Gannon and Phyllis Holroyd. Brother-in-law of Joe Marino of Peterborough and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Lakefield, on Monday, February 4 at 10:00 am. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. Father Damian Smullen officiating. If so desired memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Parish Prayers will be offered on Sunday at 3:30 at Hendren's.
