ACKISON, WILLIAM JOHN (WW II Veteran Royal Canadian Navy) At his residence in Lakefield on Sunday, February 10, 2002, Bill Ackison in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Alice (Chappell). Loving father of Debra and her husband Larry Nash of Lakefield and Doug and his wife Nazira of Toronto and beloved grandfather of Tyler, Matthew, Laila and Adam. Dear brother of Frank, Margaret Robinson and the late Donald. Friends are invited to call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, Lakefield, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lakefield on Wednesday, February 13 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Hillside Cemetery. Rev. Peter Bishop officiating. If so desired memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or P.R.H.C. Palliative Care, would be appreciated by the family. The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 77 will hold their service on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Hendren's.
