Obituary of Beryl Maisie Rooth

Beryl Rooth of Havelock, in her 91st year, February 18, 2022.

Much loved Mother of Sharon (Paul) Cahill of Port McNeill, BC, Susan (deceased) and Sandy Landry (late Rollie) of Norwood. She will be greatly missed by her grandsons Alex Wood (Krista) of Norwood, Paul Cahill (Sue) of Peterborough, Steven Cahill of Port McNeill, BC and great-granddaughter Lily Cahill of Port McNeill.

Survived by sisters Heather Hunter and Shirley Edwards.  Predeceased by her husband (Glen Meisner), parents Margaret & Fred Sims of Havelock and sister Audrey McConnell of South Glens Falls, NY.

Beryl grew up in Toronto, and moved to Havelock when she retired. She spent many fun years at the family cottage on Round Lake. Beryl and Glen spent winters in Winterhaven, Florida for a number of years.

At Beryl’s request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place later in the spring.
