Obituary of Thomas Kupusa

Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, June 4, 2009 with his family at his side, Tom Kupusa of Bobcaygeon, at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Margaret Kupusa for 41 years. Father of Sara (Alan) Frampton, Hamilton; Susan Kupusa, Waterdown and Nathan Thomas (Tara) Kupusa, Burlington. Grandfather of Zoë and Spencer. Brother-in-law of Elizabeth Sandra Lawrence, Barrie. Uncle of Elizabeth Lawrence and Sean Lawrence, both of Barrie. Loved son-in-law-of the late Martha Ward. Son of Rhoda Kupusa and the late Frederick. Brother of Christopher (Carol) Kupusa, New Glasgow, NS; John Kupusa, Nanaimo, BC and the late Robert. Tom served 31 years as an RCMP Officer RG#24485, retiring as Sergeant in charge of The Drug Squad, Hamilton Detachment, “O” Division. Tom was an active member of the Bobcaygeon Chamber of Commerce for 8 years, serving the last 4 years as President. Tom and Margaret operate Bobcaygeon’s Scarlet Tunic Bed & Breakfast.
